Dated 1897. _ ”By the grace of God, Nikolai II Emperor and Autocrat of all Russia” in Cyrillic, bare head left / 7 “Roubles” 50 “Kopek” 1897 in Cyrillic; É. in exergue, crowned double-headed imperial eagle facing with wings displayed, holding scepter and orb, coat-of-arms of Moskva framed by Order of St. Andrei the First Called on breast; arms of Kazan, Kingdom of Poland, Crimea, and United Principal Russian Grand Duchies on right wing, Astrakhan, Novosibirsk, Caucasus, and Grand Duchy of Finland on left; filleted imperial crown above. On edge: “Unalloyed gold 1 Zolotnik 34,68 Dolyas” (Ä•É) in Cyrillic. Bitkin 17 var. (narrow edge); Uzdenikov 324 var. (same); Friedberg 178 var. (same); KM (Y)63 var. (same).
