L–VDOVIVS´ DEI GRA COm´ Z DnS FLANDR–IE (double annulet stops), lion seated left on ornate Gothic throne, wearing crowned great helmet decorated with lion’s head crest; FLANDRES in exergue / + BENEDICTVS QVI VENIT IN NOmINE DOmINI (double saltire stops; Ns retrograde), ornate cross cross crosslet with central D, bars ending in ornate cruciform flowers flanked by leaves; F-L-A-n in quarters; all within multi-arched tressure.
