ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P COS III, laureate and draped bust right / ANNO-NA AVG, S C across field, Annona, draped, standing front, head right, holding grain-ears downward in right hand over modius which holds grain-ears and poppies, holding cornucopia in left hand, tip pointed away from body; to right, at feet, prow right. RIC III 597; Strack 821; Banti 17; BMCRE 1227; Cohen 37. Good VF, attractive, dark brown patina, edges smoothed, four shallow edge test cuts at 3 o’clock. Struck on a heavy, medallic flan.
