BASILEWS BASILEWN MEGALOU MAUOU, Zeus Nikephoros seated facing slightly left on high-backed throne, holding Nike in outstretched right hand and cradling long scepter in left arm; to left, forepart of elephant at feet right with trunk raised / “Rajadirajasa Mahatasa Moasa” in Kharosthi, Herakles, laureate, standing facing, touching wreath with right hand and cradling club, palm, and lion skin in left arm; monogram in inner left field. Senior 10.1; Bopearachchi & Rahman 690; MIG -. Good VF, black-green patina with earthen overtones. Very rare and an especially attractive example.
