BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 425-395 BC. AR Stater (11.97 g). Boeotian shield / The infant Herakles seated facing, head right, strangling two serpents; bow to left, Q E below; all within incuse circle. BCD Boiotia 456; Head, Boeotia -; Myron pl. B, 35; SNG Copenhagen -; Traité III 264; Pozzi 1437 = Pozzi (Boutin) 3260 (this coin). Good VF, toned, a few insignificant scratches under tone. Rare.
