Delaroche, P., et al. Trésor de numismatique et de glyptique. Numismatique des rois grecques. (Paris, 1835?.) 188 pages, with 93 plates engraved by Achilles Collas. The trésor was a monumental 20 volume encyclopedia of coins, medals, gem stones and other forms of engraved art that was published over the period 1834-1858. Collas used an unusual engraving technique that resembled a topographic outline, creating an almost photographic image. This weighty volume on Greek portrait coins is a small extract from the encyclopedia. Text in French. Folio, bound in quarter cream cloth with marbled boards and combed end papers, gilt morocco spine title. Fine condition, slight water stains on a few pages. Rare.
