A taler of David of Mansfeld-Eigentliche Hinterort, dated 1615, countermarked on obverse with two punches: horseman right with monogram below in dotted circle (Type I) and date in plain rectangle (Type III). Coin: Davenport 6977; KM 18; Countermarks: Efimki 1174a (this coin); Kaim I p. 126-129; KM -. Coin VF, c/ms good VF, toned. The Type III date punch shows little evidence of the die breaks that normally afflict it. ($600)
