A taler of Johann Georg I and August of Saxony, dated 1615, countermarked on obverse with two punches: horseman right with monogram below in dotted circle (Type II) and date in plain rectangle (Type II). Coin: Davenport 7573; KM 44; Countermarks: cf. Efimki 1097 (date unlisted); Kaim I p. 126-129; KM -. Coin VF, c/ms good VF, toned. Both countermarks bold. ($1000)
