A taler of Friedrich Ulrich of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, dated 1619, countermarked on reverse with two punches: horseman right with monogram below in dotted circle (Type I) and date in plain rectangle (Type III). Coin: Welter 1057A; KM 52.1; Countermarks: Efimki 751-753; Kaim I p. 126-129; KM 400. Coin VF, c/ms VF, toned. Both countermarks weak, flan crack. Date double punched. ($500)
