A taler of Heinrich Julius of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, dated 1611, countermarked on reverse with two punches: horseman right with monogram below in dotted circle (Type II) and date in plain rectangle (Type I). Coin: Welter 645B; KM 7; Countermarks: Efimki 740 (this coin); Kaim I p. 126-129; KM 400. Coin VF, c/ms VF, scratches on obverse, toned. Horseman countermark weak. ($500)
