TI CAESAR AVGVSTI F IMPERATOR VII, laureate head right / ROM ET AVG, front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels, flanked by nude male figures; to left and right, Victories on columns, facing one another. RIC I 248a corr. (Augustus; obv. legend); Lyon 111 (Augustus); BMCRE 580 (Augustus); BN 1761 (Augustus); Cohen 35. VF, red-brown patina with patches of dark green. Exceptional for issue, well centered with full legends on obverse. Rare. ($3000)
