BOIOTIA, Orchomenos. Late 5th century-364 BC. Lot of two AR Hemiobols. Both coins: Half wheat grain, sprouting end upward, ivy leaf downward to upper right / Wheat ear upward. Varieties: (a) 0.46 g, 4h. On reverse, stem of ear curving to left; P-[(E retrograde)] across lower field. This variety unpublished in the standard references // (b) 0.42 g, 6h. On reverse, (R inverted & retrograde)-(E retrograde) across lower field. Weber 3216 (same rev. die). Coins Fine and Near EF, respectively. Two (2) coins in lot. ($300)
