Diademed head of Zeus-Ammon right / Eagle standing on thunderbolt left; lotus to left, EUL between legs; c/m: Seleukid anchor. Weiser 152; Svoronos 1398; SNG Copenhagen 294. Near VF, black patina, surfaces a touch rouh.

The name PTOLEMAIOU has been deliberately effaced and the Seleukid countermark applied during the the attempt of Antiochos IV to incorporate Ptolemaic Egypt and Cyprus into the Seleukid Empire (170-168 BC).
