Dated RY 1 (711/2 AD). facing bust, wearing crown and loros, holding globus cruciger and eagle-tipped sceptre; fragmentary legend / Large K; cross above; ANNO ) across field; B below. Cf. DOC II 1; MIB III 22; SB 1456. Good VF, brown patina. Very rare and one of the finest known. ($500)

The bronze coins of Justinian II and Philippicus often have an indicator mark - ' - before the date; on this coin it is elongated and resembles a parenthesis - ).
