IMP SER GALBA CAESAR AVG, laureate and draped bust right / VIR-TVS across field, Virtus, nude, standing facing, cradling sheathed sword in right arm and holding long sceptre in left hand. Cf. RIC I 222 (aureus); BMCRE pg. 316, * note and cf. pl. 52, 25 (aureus; same reverse die); BN -; RSC -. EF. Known only as an aureus; apparently unique as a denarius. ($2500)
