DIVA MAESA AVGVSTA, veiled and draped bust right / CONSE-C-RATIO AVG, S C across field, Diva Julia Maesa reclining left on peacock, cloak billowing around, left leg wrapped around peacock's right wing, holding sceptre in right hand; peacock flying right with wings outstretched. RIC IV 714 (Severus Alexander); Banti 3; BMCRE -; Cohen 4. Good VF, mottled blue-green patina, minor areas of soft strike. Very rare. ($2000)
