M OPEL ANTONINVS DIADVMENIANVS CAES, bare-headed, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from front / PRINC IVVENTVTIS, S C in exergue, Diadumenian standing facing, head right, holding legionary aquila in right hand and cradling baton in left arm; legionary aquila and military standard in right field. RIC IV 211 (same obverse die); Clay Issue 2; Banti 3; BMCRE 149 (Macrinus; same obverse die); Cohen 7. Choice VF, red-brown patina with areas of green and black. Very rare. ($4000)
