DIVVS M AN-TONINVS PIVS, bare head right / CON-SE-C-RATIO, S C in exergue, Divus Marcus Aurelius reclining left on eagle, left leg wrapped around eagle's right wing, raising right hand and cradling sceptre in left arm; eagle standing right on thunderbolt with wings outstretched. RIC III 660 (Commodus); MIR 18, 486-6/10; Banti 50; BMCRE 395 (Commodus; same obverse die); Cohen 94. Good VF, hard emerald-green patina with some lighter overtones. ($2500)
