T CAES VESPASIAN IMP PON TR POT COS II, laureate head right / S C across field, Mars, helmeted and nude but for flowing cloak, advancing right, holding spear in right hand and trophy over left shoulder. RIC II 611 (Vespasian); BMCRE -; BN 621 (Vespasian); Cohen 199 corr. (radiate head right). Good VF, mottled brown and black patina. Bold portrait. ($2000)
