Diademed head of Hercules right, club and lion's skin over shoulder / She-wolf standing right, head left, suckling Romulus and Remus; ROMANO in exergue. Crawford 20/1; Sydenham 6; BMCRR Romano-Campanian 28; RSC 8. VF, very minor mark on either side beneath lovely deep cabinet toning. ($1000)
