HRWC ANTINOOC, bare head right / ADPIANHC TAPCOV MHTPOPOLEWC NEOK (around), NEW PUQIW (below tripod), tripod lebes with entwined serpent; prize crown at base. Blum pg. 52, 8 var. (reverse legend); SNG Levante -; SNG France 1419; BMC Lycaonia pg. 189, 157 (the specimen cited in Blum); SNG Copenhagen 360; SNG von Aulock -. VF, original dark green find patina, red and green encrustation. Struck on a broad medallic flan. ($1000)

Although the reverse is particular in rather heavily encrusted, this coin is remarkable simply as a bronze of Antinoüs that has not undergone extensive "treatment," and is in its natural state.
