Archaic head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet / AQE (with archaic Q), owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig to left. Asyut Group III; Seltman Group L (unlisted dies); Svoronos, Monnaies -; Dewing -; cf. BMC Attica pg. 4, 25; SNG Copenhagen -; SNG München -. Good VF, toned. Exceptionally well struck, and from an unusually fresh obverse die. ($5000)
