Diademed head right / Zeus standing left, holding Corinthian helmet and sceptre; monogram in outer left field, date in inner left field. SNG Spaer 1487-91; Babelon 918. VF, dark green patina with sandy encrustation.

About as often as not this issue comes with a rectangular countermark containing a palm branch on the reverse, the meaning of which is uncertain. Collectors of the series generally try to obtain examples both with and without the countermark.
