SEVERUS ALEXANDER. 222-235 AD. Æ Medallic Sestertius (36mm, 32.62 gm). Struck 225 AD. Laureate draped bust right / Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm. RIC IV 620c; Banti 167 var (no cuirass); Cohen 571. VF, flan crack. Field and devices cleaned down to a smooth brown patina, while the edges were left with original rough green patina, creating an unusual "porthole" effect.
