TUDOR. Henry VII. 1485-1509. AR Groat (26mm, 3.19 g, 11h). Facing bust issue, type I. London (Tower) mint; im: rose/–. Struck 1485-1487. Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches with lis at cusps; saltires flanking neck / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in each quarter. North 1703; SCBC 2194. Toned, some areas of weak strike, tiny reverse die flaw. Good VF. Pleasing portrait.
