Diademed head of Seleukos I Nikator right / Athena seated left, holding shield decorated with gorgoneion to left, and cradling long scepter, on throne with back in the form of a small sphinx seated right; ivy leaf (faintly visible) above arm, bow to outer right. Ingvaldsen, Philetaerus 7, dies IVb/15; Newell, Pergamene 14, dies XVb/34; SC 309.5a; SNG BN 1599 (same obv. die); Meydancikkale 2999 (same dies). Lightly toned, porous. Near VF.
