CYRRHESTICA, Cyrrhus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 12.66 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Radiate head right / Eagle standing facing on filleted thyrsus, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. Prieur 909 (this coin). Lightly toned, some porosity, flan crack, reverse double struck. Good VF. Extremely rare, only two noted by Prieur, and two in CoinArchives. Unusual portrait with long hair.
