NUNQUAM ARESCERE, MDCCXCI (date) in exergue, a river god reclining right on an urn, inscribed CLYDE, from which water flows and holding rudder / RULE BRITANNIA, 1795 in exergue, figure of Britannia seated left, holding spear and resting arm on shield set on ground to right. Edge: PAYABLE IN LONDON the remainder engrailed. D&H 9. EF, brown surfaces, thin die break on obverse.
