ISLANDS off THESSALY, Peparethos. 4th-3rd centuries BC. Æ Chalkous (13mm, 1.76 g, 12h). Bearded head of Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath / Π-Ε, kantharos, with tendrils and grape bunches emerging from left and right. Rogers 559; BCD Thessaly II 798; HGC 6, 412. Near VF, brown patina with patches of red, compact flan.
