Terracotta oil lamp with Cupid. Roman, 1st-2nd centuries AD. Volute-type lamp with central dimple and impressed Cupid in center. Fill hole to right of Cupid. Nozzle is volute, with flares at the extension from the body and again at the end of the nozzle. Dimensions: 8.5x6x2.6cm. Cracked and repaired on body and underside of nozzle, otherwise an attractive piece. Good type.
