Hand extending scroll left / Pyramid consisting of fifteen blazing stars, bearing the initials of the first fifteen states of the union; annulets around; all set on sun rays; rosette below. Plain edge. Breen 1155; Whitman W-8800; D&H 59c (Lancashire). In PCGS encapsulation, 28924800, graded AU 50.


The positioning of the K on the top star has led to colloquial designation of this type as a“Kentucky cent.”
