Large tombstone, surmounted by cross and with figures on each side, each holding inverted torch, inscribed . R . F . in cornice; on face, skull-and-crossbones surrounded by EGALITÉ to left, FRATERNITÉ to right, and LIBERTÉ below; base decorated with Liberty Cap flanked by compasses; 21, 22 9dre 1852 in exergue / Eight-line legend citing the demise of the Republic.
