An extremely rare and otherwise unlisted variant among the very common Christiana religio coinage, with two dots in the obverse legend, HLVD:OVVIC. The style is neat and the legends correct. Unfortunately there is at present no way of attributing the coin to a particular mint. This coin was reportedly found at Fegersheim in Alsace. [S. Coupland]
