Extremely rare issue for the first year of Poppaea being introduced on Nero’s Alexandrian coinage, with Nero still being depicted wearing a laurel wreath versus the radiate crown of later years.

The final winners of all Triton XXI lots will be determined at the live public sale that will be held on January 9 and 10, 2018. The website will indicate the current selling level both during the website bidding and after the website bidding closes, however the final winner and sales price will not be determined until the bidding takes place in the public auction. The final Triton XXI prices realized will be uploaded to the website on January 11, 2018. Bidding will close strictly at the indicated time, any bids received at the site after the closing time will not be executed. Please note that transmittal times vary and bidding as time expires may result in rejection of the bid.
