Struck circa 1143-1152. Crowned facing bust / [+ ...]E : ON : LINCOLN, lozenge with incurved sides; star at center, trefoil at each end, and annulet in each quarter. Cf. Mack 72–4; Mossop 15 var. (dies A/– [unlisted rev. die]); cf. SCBI 27 (Lincolnshire), 951–3; North 897; SCBC 1301. Good Fine, toned, minor chips and marks. Struck on a square flan. Very rare.
