AEOLIS, Larissa Phrikonis(?). 4th century BC. AR Obol(?) (9.5mm, 0.79 g, 11h). Laureate head of Apollo(?) right / Eagle, with spread wings, flying left; club below right wing. Unpublished in the standard references, but cf. CNG 385, lot 205 = CNG 79, lot 318; Pecunem 41, lot 244; and Gorny & Mosch 191, lot 1538 for similar pieces, and CNG 106, lot 323 for a tetrobol of this same issue. Near VF, rough find patina. Very rare.
