Diademed and draped bust left / + ÆLFSTAN ON LIC, small cross pattée. SCBI 5 (Copenhagen), 156 (same dies, but earlier die state); cf. SCBI 8 (BM) 53 (for type; same rev. die, but Sihtric obv. legend); cf. Hild. 1489 (for type); North 777; SCBC 1154. VF, areas of light toning, slight double strike on obverse, struck with worn dies, peck marks.
