From the Andrew McCabe Collection. Ex Hirsch Nachf. 298 (7 May 2014), lot 465; Triton XVII (6 January 2014), lot 521; Archer M. Huntington Collection, ANS 1001.1.10531.

This is an unusual case of my disposing of a fine quality coin with an old provenance – acquired by the ANS before 1955 – as I had the recent good fortune to acquire an example from the collection of the Venetian librettist and classicist Apostolo Zeno – in Zeno's before 1750 – in its place.
