Old Kingdom. 2686-2181, possibly Third Dynasty, 2686-2613 BC. Lot of four blue-green faience tiles. Each tile with rear piercing on back for mounting in a central, raised area. Such pieces are frequently attributed to the Step Pyramid of Djoser and the surrounding complexes in Saqqara.
