ROMAN. Provincial-Imperial. Lot of fifty-one (51) AR, BI, and Æ denominations. Includes: Issues of many of the emperors and empresses from the late second to the late fourth centuries. A good mix of denominations – (9 denarii, 20 AR and BI antoniniani, 4 Æ sestertii, 14 Æ folles and late Æ denominations, an AR Siliqua of Gratian) – and includes an AR denarius of Clodius Albinus, an AR denarius of Macrinus, an AR denatius of Diadumenian as Caesar, and an Æ sestertius of Pupienus. Lot also includes a large Æ of Gordian III from Antioch in Pisidia and an Alexandrian tetradrachm of Severina and one of Tacitus. All coins in cardboard holders with attributions. Coins Fine to VF – the Albinus and Diadumenian are Near VF, the Macrinus is VF, and the Pupienus is Fine. Lot includes consignor purchase information. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.
