THESSALY, Pharsalos. Late 5th-mid 4th century BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 6.04 g, 7h). Helmeted head of Athena left; TH/Δ to left / Φ-A-P-[Σ] (partially retrograde), Thessalian cavalryman on horse rearing left, holding goad; all within incuse circle. Lavva 138 (V65/R78); cf. BCD Thessaly II 644 (same dies); HGC 4, 626. Good VF, attractively toned.
