THESSALY, Pharkadon. Circa 440-400 BC. AR Hemidrachm (16mm, 2.78 g, 3h). Hero (Thessalos?), petasos and cloak tied at neck, holding band around head of forepart of bull right / Φ-Α-Ρ-ΚΑ-ΔΟ (
retrograde), forepart of horse right within incuse square. BCD Thessaly I 1268 var. (arrangement of ethnic); BCD Thessaly II 603 var. (same); HGC 4, 292. Good VF, lightly toned. Struck on a broad flan.
