Five volumes complete. 64 plates with descriptive text opposite describing 3541 coins. Bound in matching brown card covers with tissue interleaves in volumes 1, 2 and 4. An expansive collection noted for it’s quality and coverage. These volumes cover the entire Greek world, from Spain and Italy through Cyrenaica. The Lockett collection was sold by Glendinings in the 1950’s and these coins can be found on the market today, with Lockett pedigrees commanding a strong premium. Shelf wear around edges as to be expected, some minor tearing at top of spine of volume 1, overall fine copies.
