NABATAEA. Uncertain king. Late 1st century BC. AR Hemidrachm (11mm, 0.95 g). Brockage issue. Petra mint. Diademed head right / Incuse of obverse. VF, rough surfaces. This portrait style was used on the coins of Obodas III, Sillaios, and the early issues of Aretas IV. Brockages are well known for Nabataean drachms, but are relatively rare for hemidrachms.
