THESSALY, Kierion. Circa 350-300 BC. Æ Trichalkon (20mm, 8.61 g, 5h). Head of Apollo right / KIEPIE/Ω[N] around from lower left, Zeus advancing right, hurling thunderbolt, with eagle perched on outstretched arm; to right, Arne half-kneeling to her left, playing with knucklebones. Cf. Rogers 178 (arrangement and spelling of ethnic); BCD Thessaly II 108.1 var. (arrangement of ethnic). Good VF, dark green patina.
