North 779; SCBC -. Good VF. Sharply struck. Very rare. ($1000)

This unusual variety is known for only five mints: Colchester, Ipswich, Stamford, Sudbury and Thetford. This is a most unusual portrait of Aethelred as it has a very distinctive bearded portrait.
