Helmeted head of Roma right; capis to left, X (mark of value) below chin / She-wolf standing right, head left, suckling the twins Remus and Romulus; to left, shepherd Faustulus standing right; in background, birds on fig tree. Cf. Crawford 235/1 and 235/1a; cf. Sydenham 461 and 461a; cf. Pompeia 1 and 1a. Good VF, somewhat irregular flan, minor flan flaws, traces of deposits and a few shallow cleaning scratches on reverse.
