IRELAND, Hiberno-Norse. Circa 1095/1100-1150. AR Penny (18mm, 0.52 g). Phase IV Coinage, Long Cross type, blundered legends. Uncertain mint signature and moneyer. Draped bust left; crozier (bishop’s crook) before / Voided long cross; scepters and pellets in alternating quarters. Cf. O'S 22; SCBI 8 (BM), –; SCBC 6187. Near VF, deeply toned, edge a little frayed in places. Very debased style.
