CILICIA, Issos. Circa 390-385 BC. AR Stater (20.5mm, 10.54 g, 1h). Apollo standing left, holding bird in extended right hand, scepter in left; IΣI to right / Herakles, nude, standing facing, head right, leaning on club in left hand, right hand holding bow, lion skin draped over right arm. Cf. Casabonne type 3; cf. Brindley, Early, Group 5; otherwise unpublished in the standard references. VF, toned, struck from worn dies, weakly struck on high points. Extremely rare.
