Head of Athena right, wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with Skylla hurling a stone; EY right / [THRAKLHI-WN], Herakles standing facing, upper torso turned right, wrestling with the Nemean lion; club to left, jug between legs, [APOL] left of club. Van Keuren 51 (same obverse die); SNG ANS 66 (same dies); Work 45 (same obverse die). Superb EF, fine style. (See color enlargement on plate 5.) ($2500)
